Public demo, distribution learnings, and GTM focus.

Mar 10, 2026 · Day 5

Day 8 of Ryva outreach.

Today’s biggest win was removing the value-to-risk barrier: the public demo is now live and people can see Ryva’s output before connecting anything private.

What I shipped

  • Launched public demo: ryva.dev/demo.
  • Built demo interactions as local-only so users can test workflows without signup.
  • Seeded realistic project, Slack, and archive states to make the demo feel credible.
  • Enabled decision lifecycle actions in the Agent tab for demo mode (approve, decline, keep open).
  • Bought $35 of Vercel AI Gateway credits for faster iteration across this and future products.

Distribution and outreach insights

  • Added 100+ new LinkedIn connections today.
  • Moved from ~50 to ~350 total connections in 7 days.
  • Reddit still works well for deep discussion and learning real workflows from senior engineers.
  • Reddit is useful for manual outreach and feedback, but weak for scalable direct promotion.

Current direction:

  • Keep Reddit for high-signal conversations while PMF is still forming.
  • Shift more distribution weight to X and LinkedIn for scalable growth.

Strategic clarity

The core issue is not awareness. It is a value-to-risk gap.

People are interested, but connecting a private GitHub repo feels like a high-trust action without enough proof. The demo solves this by showing concrete missing-decision output first.

A strong next move is simple: run Ryva on public repos, publish short screen recordings, and lead with outcomes instead of claims.

External feedback

A founder on X sent me a 7-page breakdown of why my account/posts were underperforming. Most suggestions are fundamental, but likely effective. I plan to implement them directly and measure results.

If X underperforms after iteration, I will keep testing channels and re-balance back toward Reddit.

Next product steps

  • Publish short X/LinkedIn clips showing real missing decisions found in public repos.
  • Push the demo link into active DMs and conversations.
  • Keep testing hooks and content formats while tracking activation, not just reach.

Numbers

  • $35 Vercel AI Gateway credits purchased
  • 100+ new LinkedIn connections today
  • ~350 total LinkedIn connections (up from ~50 in 7 days)
  • Demo live at ryva.dev/demo

Main progress today: the product is now easier to trust before signup, which should improve conversion quality over time.
