Observation before building
Jun 7, 2026 · Day 93
Today started to point back toward building, even though there are still school and routine things sitting around the edges. I also wrote /blog/summer/, which ended up being about this weird phase before the next clear obsession appears.
IBX snapshot for 2026-06-07

- kept breakfast prep, hydration, and omega-3 done
- wrote diary entries and got a light bike ride in
- published /blog/summer/
- left the bigger build block for
passFa.stopen - still have reading and sleep/reset tasks on the board
Context
The past few days were mostly school and routine, but today has a clearer direction again.
passFa.st is the obvious build target on the board now, and the main challenge is making enough room for it without dropping the basics.
The summer post made the day feel less like a random in-between moment. School ended, summer school started, the cut ended, San Francisco and Talon already happened, and now there is not one huge project occupying every spare thought. That used to feel like a problem, but I think it is more like the observation phase before the next thing gets obvious. I am paying attention to AI, students, health, routines, and the strange small problems that keep showing up.
Takeaway
The day was not fully cleared, but it moved back toward work that matters. The job right now is to keep the basics stable, keep observing, and turn the open build block into real progress instead of letting it sit there.
